SLJ: Sir Edmund Hillary

Kia Ora! This is a google drawing about Sir Edmund Hillary, if you didn't know already Sir Edmund Hillary built my school known as Edmund Hillary School. His great success
has made me proud of attending EHS. I hope you enjoy reading questions I'd ask him if he was still here today.

  2. Kia Ora, Amanda!

Congratulations for completing yet another Summer Learning Journey activity. Once again, you have blown me away with your ability to present your blog posts.

I really like how you've made a little bibliography of Sir Edmund Hillary and then added (in a thought bubble!) questions you would like to ask Sir Edmund Hillary. I respect that in your questions you've asked him how his family felt about his decision to climb Mt. Everest. I LOVE the question "while climbing, did you ever regret your decision?"— I'm sure that would encourage some healthy conversation.

When did he build your school? Did he also have something to do with building the library, Sir Edmund Hillary Library?

Looking forward to your response :)

    Thanks,

    Jordan

    1. Hello Jordan!

I'd like to say thank you for giving me a honorable position! I'm so flattered, I really don't know how to show how thankful I am but thank you so much for giving me the 'top blog post' for this week! I'll continue to work hard :)

To be really honest, I had answers to those questions you asked me but all of a sudden I forgot them! I read some information about my school at the Papakura Museum but it's all gone... This is kinda shaming that I forgot those kind of things about my school but I hope I'll be able to go visit the Papakura Museum again!

      Thank You,
      Amanda
