SLJ: My Hometown

4 comments:

  1. Kia ora Amanda! My name is AJ and I go to Christ The King school. I am also currently taking part in the summer learning journey. I liked how you explained and described your hometown using lots of expression, and also how you included things like your friends, teachers, and your school. How long have you been living in Papakura? Your hometown sounds great!, and another thing I enjoyed was how you made your writing interesting using a variety of colours and including an image. Keep up the good work!

Here's a link to my blog to check out some of my SLJ posts too:

    1. Hello AJ! Thank you for the generous things you've said about my work! I have been living in Papakura for 7 years now, it's been an amazing experience... I'll make sure to take a look at your SLJ posts :)

    2. Kia Ora, Aj

So happy to see you've journeyed over to the Kootuitui cluster to leave a thoughtful comment on another students blog site, nice work! You've earned yourself another 2 bonus points for this. Amanda, you can also earn yourself 2 bonus points per thoughtful comment. If you do head over to Aj's page and decide to leave them a thoughtful comment, it needs to be at least 3 sentences long and has to engage with whatever the post is about (just as Aj has done above).

Aj— I'll be sure to notify Megan and let her know.

      Keep up the great conversation!

      Cheers,

      Jordan.

  2. Kia Ora, Amanda!

Well done for completely another SLJ related activity!
Thank you for putting so much effort into the presentation of your blog posts. I really enjoy your font choice and the colour scheme. Well Done!

I really like how you said, "I may not know a lot about Papakura, but living in this suburb allowed me to meet so many loyal and worthy friends who I truly appreciate." That is a lovely thing to say about your home town and your friends. Maybe you could tell me a couple facts about Papakura?

    Cheers,

    Jordan.
