Well done for completing another Summer Learning Journey activity, 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles', and for telling us which, out of the three options of transportation, you'd pick to travel around the spectacular Milford Sound. It's been a common occurrence that students have been picking the boat, and it seems for all very appropriate reasons. The boat would be a nice warm, safe spot to relax while you check out the views and it also is a good spot to leave your luggage instead of having to haul it around. I personally would pick walking as I love to hike— I think that way would offer a lot of adventure, too. Have you travelled to the South Island before?
I have actually travelled to the South Island, I went to visit my cousin down in Blenheim. We went there by plane... It was a good experience actually but I've been to the South Island by boat and I loved it because it was so relaxing and calming at the same time...
So lovely to hear that you've travelled down to the South Island— how did you find Blenheim? I too love riding on the Interislander. I was born in Invercargill so I have family down there. My father used to travel us back and forth between Gisborne— it was quite the trip.
You've earned another 2 bonus points for your thoughtful response to my comment, well done!
